How To Find Us

As the project is run by students in their spare time, the project has limited opening hours. At present, we are open during term time on Wednesday afternoons between 2pm and 5pm. In special cases, we can arrange to be open at other times by prior appointment. We are located in Vanbrugh VX/008 (Grimston House).

If you are travelling from outside the University

Here is a road map of the local area and some instrucions.

From the A64, take the A1079 towards York. At the roundabout next to "B&Q", take the first exit. (It is signposted "University".) About a mile further on, you get to an elongated roundbout. Turn right (third exit). Go straight over the next mini roundabout. There are three overhead bridges. Take the first left after you have gone under the last bridge, signposted "Vanbrugh College" and "Information Centre". If you arrive at a roundabout on a steep slope, you've gone too far!

This map of campus may help. We're in building "28".

If you are elsewhere in the University

To find us, follow signs to Vanbrugh College. We're based in Grimston House, which is situated between Vanbrugh and the Music Department.

If it helps, here is the google streetview of our office (3rd & 4th window in from the left on the ground floor). Feel free to look around to get your bearings

The entrance to use is that nearest to Music (not the York Conferences entrance), and we are next-door to Nouse. We now have a sign on our window.

The outside door will usually be unlocked during office hours. If not, simply knock on our window. Once inside, turn right and knock on the Student Media Corridor door. We are first right on that corridor.
