The Computer Recycling Project is based at The University of York and aims to ensure that no useable computer equipment is thrown away on campus. We take computer equipment that would otherwise be scrapped and offer it to charities, departments, staff and students with any profits raised being donated to charity.
Opening Times
During term time we are open 2-5pm Wednesdays, If you'd like to check please call 01904 43 4442 during those hours.
We've got loads of PC's in! 2Ghz+ range. If you're looking for something in particular come down and see us, we might not have what you want but people rarely leave empty handed.
Hot Stuff
Donations
We can only accept Desktop PC's over 2Ghz, as we have real difficultly shifting slower computers.
Scanners & Printers
Cables
If you need a cable chances are we've got one, from kettle leads to network cables we've got them. We even have a few SATA/USB/Firewire cables around sometimes. Come in or contact us to see what we have.
